How your trip-request details are handled.

What We Collect

When you request to join a trip, we collect the details you enter so the team can review and respond.

  • Your name, email, phone number, selected trip and departure, and traveller count
  • Any optional Instagram, LinkedIn, requirements, and message details you provide
  • A submission ID and, when rate limiting is enabled, limited data to prevent duplicate or spam requests

How We Use It

Trip requests are delivered through Google Apps Script to our request spreadsheet. We use the details to review your request and contact you about that trip.

  • When configured, the website uses Upstash Redis to limit repeated submissions. It stores a one-way hash of your IP address for a 15-minute limit and a one-way hash of email, trip, and date for a 24-hour duplicate check. If this service is not configured, requests can still be sent to the trip-request spreadsheet.
  • We do not operate a newsletter or general contact form on this site.
  • For questions about your information, use the verified contact channel shown on this site when one is available.
